Linton Investments is a privately-held domain name investment firm started in Boston, MA. We have a diverse portfolio across a wide-range of popular TLD's and ccTLD's. Our most popular categories for domain investment are travel, technology, and genetics-related domain names. These are areas we feel still have a lot of room for growth and thus represents the major holdings within our portfolio.

We have short-term investments in .com domains that are listed for sale through Afternic, Sedo, and Snapnames. We sell domains at fixed prices as well as in auction. Our goal is to purchase a domain and spend several months building-up the value of our investment before attempting to sell the name. We have discovered that by setting-up a professional website and generating repeat monthly traffic to the domain we can greatly increase the value of our investment. Linton Investments actively parks certain domains as well as creates custom advertising pages to monetize portions of our portfolio. As we acquire more domain names, we make sure that at least 20% of our portfolio is used to generate passive income for the business.
